Conference (Strasbourg, France) on European Criminal Policy

On Thursday, 25th November 2010 an international conference with the title „What Principles for a European Criminal Policy after the Treaty of Lisbon“ took place in Strasbourg (France). The conference was organised by the Centre de Droit Privé Fondamental (CDPF) and the Centre d’Etudes Internationales et Européennes (CEIE) in cooperation with the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (Munich). Academic director was ECPI member Prof. Dr. Jocelyne Leblois-Happe (Université de Strasbourg). ECPI members presented their ideas based on the Manifesto and entered into discussion with renowned experts on European criminal law – as e.g. Prof. Jean Pradel, Ives Bot (General Advocate at the European Court of Justice), Søren Schønberg (Member of the Cabinet of the EU-Commissioner for Home Affairs) and Jerzy Montag (Member of the Bundestag) – and with the interested public.
